A good majority of mobile phone users in the UK market feel that the mobile phones and smartphones that were built earlier were stronger and sturdier and today lot of handsets need to be sturdier. They say this because there has been an increase in the damage to the mobile device of late.
This feedback has come to light in a new study carried out by the Good Mobile Phones, a mobile phone comparison web site. Its study reveals that a good three quarter of the users here were of the view that their present handsets were less sturdy than what they got to use say five years ago. And they wanted the new lot of devices to be made of more durable material.
Further, a whopping 89 per cent opined that their mobile phone devices need to be stronger to withstand longer usage.
It is interesting to note that technical experts are in the process of developing what is termed as the “self repairing” plastic that may be used in the near future in mobile phone handsets.
Surprisingly enough, many mobile phone customers thought that the Apple iPhone 4S was the weakest when it comes to sturdiness. Probably aesthetics and sturdiness do not go together that much.
