It’s indeed a bad news for the Android owner Google, as Tizen, newly designed operating system of  Samsung and Intel is all set to make its entry in the mobile phone world via HTC handsets. According to a recent report of  Digitimes, this HTC Tizen phone may break its cover in the second half of 2012.

Even though, Digitimes has not spilled the beans about the source, from which it has received this news. But, its news about the Tizen toting HTC phone is certain to create ripples in the market particularly in the camp of Android.

Tech-world is already aware of the news that mobile phone makers have been finding a way to ween themselves off the Android. Samsung has made heavy investment in developing the Tizen OS, which is compatible for mobile phones, Smart TVs as well as cars. This OS is expected to emerge as a prime rival of Android and hence is causing worry to Google.

Apart, Google’s partnership with Motorola has also created stir amongst the Samsung and HTC alike. Hence, it’s oblivious for both of the brands to seek an alternative of Android for their future flagships.

In addition to these both makers, Acer and ASUS are also going to roll out their Tizen gadgets before the end of third quarter of 2012.

Carriers like Orange, Vodafone, NTT docomo, SK Telecom, NEC, Panasonic, Telefonica, and others are also keenly awaiting the release of Tizen devices.

The latest S – Voice app for the Samsung Galaxy S3 can now be installed in the  rooted Android 4.0 device. As per the recent reports a new ROM for the  S3 has been leaked on the Android Police site.

With  800 MB file, made accessible through Android Police, users will  give  approach  to S- Voice  together with plenty of  features  such as Pop -Up Play that enables you to put a small video clip  on the background of the handset. One can also use other functions of the phone at the same time.

The Canada  based company RIM Research In Motion has announced  that  its  latest offering Curve 9320 which is coming  out next week will not be upgraded to BlackBerry 10 operating system. And at the same time no up gradation will occur for the rest of the BlackBerry 7 line up.

Official  from the BlackBerry Curve 9320 has said that RIM  has no plans of up grading  the  recently announced  BlackBerry Curve 9320 to QNX based BlackBerry 10 operating system.

This is the  new platform from the  ground up . The  reason for  no up gradation  is non  compatibility  of  existing line of  BlackBerry handsets with the operating system.

Also the spokesperson  gave the  hint that Blackberry 10 operating system  is specially designed to work on touch screen  devices. RIM has  further added that it will continue to produce QWERTY  based   touch screen smart phones.

This is definitely a good  news for the  users of the Blackberry Playbook.  Spokesperson has added that  the existing tablet will be  upgraded  to the latest operating system  and will be available in October at the earliest. However, there is no exact timeframe given for the  update.

Rumor mill regarding the release of Nokia 808 Pureview with 41 MP camera is running at fast speed. After not revealing its face on two earlier announced dates, now this much-anticipated gadget is rumored to touch down UK market on June 4.

Nokia 808 Pureview was announced by Finnish company in MWC held in Feb in Barcelona. It left the all conference awestruck with its amazingly massive 41 MP shooter. In March, it was announced to roll out in market on  April 23. But, in the meantime, the launch date was set back to May 7. But, leaving the fans desperate, the gadget didn’t make its debut.

Now, UK online retailer Clove is going to unleash this Nokia mobile phone on June 4. As per Clove, the first shipment of this much-anticipated gadget has been delayed until the date is officially confirmed by company. It suggests that even the date of June 4 is still not guaranteed.

Clove has set the price of Nokia 808 Pureview at £504. On the other hand, rival retailer Amazon is going to sell it at the price tag of £529.99 SIM free. Amazingly, Amazon’s website shows the launch for May 31.

Nokia is still tight-lipped about the exact release date of this stunningly designed gadget probably for creating more hype about it. As per company, “We don’t have anything new to share at present, but we’ll be in touch as soon as we do.”
